Abstract

Within the framework of an ongoing PaR doctoral research project, this article presents some initial reflections on how the artistic practice named Esqueleto de Tigre could bring
about two openings—within the creative team and the public—towards the experience of expectation and otherness. It raises the hypothesis of an aesthetic and political performance
of this practice, against "the logic of tolerance" as a perspective on migrant sensibilities. These openings are enabled by the theoretical methodological approach to poetry that informs the research, and by adopting a certain operational and metaphorical perspective on
translation. Finally, a dialogue is established with Philosophical Aesthetics regarding this aesthetic and political performance as an opportunity to think about “the common”.
